Seniors please arrive at 5:30 in Cap and Gown
A baccalaureate ceremony is a religious service in honor of graduates that is separate from a graduation ceremony. The service is a non-denominational religious celebration so students with a religious preference can attach religious values to the milestone of graduation. The service focuses on prayers for the future, opportunities to give thanks for the accomplishments in education, and quiet reflection about the educational journey students have completed.
Graduates wearing their cap and gowns will enter the church is a procession. Guest will witness inspiring speeches, musical performances, and reflections as we honor the accomplishments of our graduates. Baccalaureate ceremonies serve as a community gathering, bringing together students, families, and friends to celebrate the graduates in a more intimate setting. Followed by a small reception including cake and area for photos.
